A Grandmother’s Poem
Joelle’s Rainbow Journey
********************************
God put the rainbow in the sky;
The clouds retreat-His promise high.
A brilliant bridge from Him to man,
To reconcile-this is His plan.
*********************************
Vibrant colors from the Son,
Uniquely placed is each one.
Pink and violet, green and blue,
A happy yellow shining through.
**********************************
Another bow around God’s throne;
Is His Glory Asian known?
This other bow upon the sky,
As Baum and Garland, “Why can’t I?”
*********************************
To find again this rainbow’s gold,
And bring this child into the fold.
So back to China we will go,
Because the Bible tells us so.
********************************
To care for Orphans-Widows, too,
It’s Christ’s command-now, go and do.
Voices cry-Oh, hear their tones;
Children need forever homes.
************************************
To travel on another road,
Lord, send helpers for this load.
The cost is high-we must be bold,
As Jesus died for this one’s soul.
********************************
When following Adoption’s mode,
Goodness against evil-told.
As we embark upon the this trail,
With prayer, Jehovah will prevail!
*********************************
Rainbow journey, precious dove-
Family, friends, and church who love.
Hearts grow stronger every day,
Even though there is delay.
************************************
Siblings talk-they are not weak,
Listen to them as they speak.
From Juliese and Brothers, “Mister,
We would like just one more Sister.”
***********************************
China Girl of Promise Stand!
Holy Spirit, Hold her hand.
“Click your shoes for dreams come true“-
Joelle, there is a home for you!
